Parade Hair!

This hair is for those RIDING in the EISF parade! Please make sure hair is professional, clean, and performance ready--you will all be adorable on the float. Remember you can wear whatever combination of Green, Yellow, and Jean that you wish--please try and incorporate all three colors! Details will be coming as far as our line up and number when I recieve it. Everyone must arrive NO LATER than 10:00 am.

Hair is as follows:

1. Hair is SLICKED back into a Super high ponytail--BANGS INCLUDED. The ponytail should be pretty high up--not on top but not too low.

2. The hair in the ponytail is TIGHTLY curled into indivudal ringlets and sprayed to last the route down!

3. You can put any hair accessories in the hair that you want!

4. Make it slick, tight, and super curly!

Also, at the end of the parade YOU MUST have someone there to grab your dancer off of the float and take them home. I cannot take them with me--we will be taking the trailer and tractors back immediately after the parade. Dancers will be taken off the float at the Independance School and will need to have arrangements made as to where they go. Thanks so much for your help with this--it makes the dancers safe and my life a little easier.
If you have questions please feel free to ask me!

Merry Christmas To Our Studio Family

I just want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a great start to a New Year! If my staff is reading this--THANK YOU for all of your hard work and comittment to dance. You are passionate about dance, about teaching, and about making sure these dancers get the best instruction in the state of Idaho! I love you for your friendship and support when I am not at my best!

To our studio families, we love you as our friends and appreciate your support to the program. We adore your children and love being able to have the amazing opportunity to teach them dance. We always want our children to be around people who teach them good things and make them better people--that is our goal!

We will NOT be holding level classes next week and will resume ALL classes the week of January 4th.

If you are interested in Winter Gymnastics registrations are due this week! Call with any questions!

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thank you Jentry and Maddison!

We were able to bring Jentry and Maddsion Campbell back in for a choreography session with Elite last week. They once again created a magical lyrical routine that will test our dancers and assist them in progressing. I was so proud of the dancers who sacrificed their time and energy to come and be taught by two very talented dancers. When we experience new teachers we learn new styles and become more well rounded dancers. Way to go everyone and wish us luck on getting this dance looking great!

We are Working HARD!

I have heard so many times this year--"You are starting things so much sooner than usual. We used to be able to get a few more getaways in during the month of October, but you are rolling!" This is very true. We are trying to step up our game and make routines more intense while being just that much more prepared for competitions. We are competiting sooner than last year and I do not want more pressure than is necessary. It is crucial that you attend EVERY class--you just never know what we will be teaching or doing and you do not want to miss. Costumes are designed and being made, routines are started, we are just so excited and ready to get these dancers into shape. Just so everyone knows (I guess those who are reading the blog) that we are taking Spring Break off after that March 27th competition. That is my sanity as I am sure it is yours. You guys are great and these dancers are ready for a challenge so we are throwing them into the fire!

THANK YOU!

I just wanted to say thank you for allowing me and Bubba to go away last week! It is our 10 year anniversary and we went to DISNEY WORLD! For those who know Bubba and I you realize that we are not lay on a beach kind of people. We are OCD about everything and extremly ADD! Disney World is the perfect fit for us since it truly is perfection in every way and kept us entertained. The great food was a huge bonus for me--I gained 8 pounds in 1 week if that tells you anything. I am rejuvenated and thankful that my staff held down the fort at the studio and you supported me and my dear husband in getting a break before the chaos! Lets get rockin and rolling this year and thank you again!

The website is now up and running! Check it out with all the information and photos! Thanks to Micha Wixom for her help and patience. I can run a dance studio but when it comes to computers let alone a website count me out! Hope you all enjoy! The address is downtowndanceonline.com or dancerscompany.com or dancersinvitational.com!
